A pilot of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was killed as a training aircraft crashed in Madhupur of Tangail on Friday afternoon.
The accident took place around 3:00pm.
Delwar Hossain, station officer of Madhurpur fire service said, the crashed aircraft was a training plane of Telki Firing Zone.
Quoting ISPR Directorate Director Lt Col Alamgir Kabir, Rezaul Karim Shammi, assistant director of Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) confirmed the matter.
The F-7 aircraft crashed during the air exercise. Arif Ahmed Dipu, a wing commander of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was killed in the crash.
